Full Job Description
Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a seasoned executive leader to oversee our global trading systems server infrastructure while serving as the organization's senior authority on information security strategy. This role demands a leader who operates at the intersection of cyber defense, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, requiring someone who can build and inspire world-class distributed teams, safeguard critical trading server environments, and communicate risk posture effectively to the senior management.
This is not a hands-on technical role. It is a strategic management position requiring mastery of people leadership, cybersecurity governance, and long-range planning.
Responsibilities:
People Leadership & Team Building
• Lead, mentor, and scale a globally distributed infrastructure and security organization spanning multiple time zones and geographies
• Recruit, retain, and develop top-tier talent; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Establish clear career development paths, succession planning, and performance frameworks for all direct and indirect reports
• Drive organizational design to ensure optimal coverage of 24/7 operations worldwide
Information Security & Risk Governance
• Serve as the senior security executive accountable for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all trading server infrastructure assets
• Define and execute the enterprise information security strategy, policies, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Own the security risk register; present cyber risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and incident reports to senior leadership
• Own incident response governance: ensure robust playbooks, regular tabletop exercises, and executive-level crisis communication protocols
• Drive a security-by-design culture across all infrastructure engineering practices, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and AI-driven operations
• Oversee vulnerability lifecycle management—from discovery through remediation SLA enforcement—across all globally distributed assets
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, FCA, MAS, or equivalent) and manage relationships with internal/external auditors
Infrastructure Oversight & Strategy
• Provide strategic direction for on-premises server and hybrid-cloud environments supporting low-latency trading systems, market data, and exchange connectivity
• Develop and maintain a rolling infrastructure and cybersecurity roadmap tied to business growth, regulatory evolution, and threat landscape shifts
• Lead strategic initiatives: technical debt elimination, platform standardization, EOL remediation, and next-generation infrastructure adoption
• Define investment cases for the executive leadership—balancing cyber resilience spending against operational efficiency gains
• Establish OKRs and KPIs that connect cybersecurity and infrastructure performance to business outcomes
• Drive convergence between infrastructure operations and development teams through strategic CI/CD integration and infrastructure-as-code adoption—without requiring hands-on technical execution
• Identify and pilot emerging technologies—AI/ML for threat detection, automated response orchestration, predictive infrastructure health—translating innovation into operational advantage
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in cybersecurity and/or infrastructure management within financial services, electronic trading, or capital markets
• Prior experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent senior information security leadership role
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing globally distributed teams with personnel across multiple regions
• Deep familiarity with regulatory and audit frameworks relevant to trading firms: SOX, SEC/FINRA, FCA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001
• Exceptional executive communication skills with direct experience presenting to Boards of Directors, audit committees, and C-level stakeholders
• Experience managing vendor relationships, budgets in excess of $10M, and cross-functional initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC
• Familiarity (strategic/oversight level) with:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux and hardened OS environments
• Physical and virtual server infrastructure (VMware, KVM, bare-metal)
• Automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
• Infrastructure-as-Code practices and GitOps workflows
• AI/ML applications in cybersecurity (behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, automated remediation)
• Trading exchange connectivity, ultra-low-latency architectures, and co-location operations
• Experience leading cybersecurity transformation programs in environments with significant legacy technical debt
• Track record of integrating security operations with DevOps/SRE cultures
• Background navigating M&A-driven technology integrations
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $220,000 - $260,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, location, skills, international locations and education.
