Job Summary
The Vice President of Data & Analytics is a senior executive responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data strategy to drive measurable business outcomes. This leader will build a high-performing, collaborative organization that delivers actionable insights, enables data-driven decision-making, and embeds analytics into core business processes.
This role requires a business-first mindset, with deep experience partnering across functions to translate data into operational and commercial impact. The VP will modernize the data ecosystem by establishing a self-service analytics architecture that reduces dependency on IT for reporting and significantly accelerates time-to-insight.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading the architecture and orchestration of a unified data ecosystem by harmonizing disparate, high-volume data streams-including legacy systems, cloud applications, and third-party APIs-to provide a single, authoritative source of truth for enterprise-wide decision-making.
Job Location
This is a hybrid position located at our Atlanta, GA corporate office.
Job Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Impact
• Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership across Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain to drive business performance.
• Translate business priorities into data and analytics solutions that deliver clear, actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
• Establish strong relationships with business leaders, ensuring analytics is embedded into decision-making processes.
• Define KPIs and performance frameworks that align analytics to enterprise value creation.
Data & Analytics Strategy
• Define and execute a multi-year data & analytics roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Build a scalable data ecosystem that integrates ERP, OT, and external market intelligence.
• Lead the evolution toward a self-service analytics model, empowering business users while maintaining governance and data quality.
• Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Architecture & Technology Leadership
• Design and implement a modern data platform leveraging the latest technology
• Drive automation and data pipelines that reduce manual reporting and eliminate IT dependency for standard analytics.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and scalability across all platforms.
Team Leadership & Culture
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, collaborative, business-centric data & analytics organization, including data engineering, BI, and data science.
• Foster an agile, outcome-focused culture that can rapidly adapt to changing business priorities.
• Establish clear accountability for results, speed, and business value delivery.
• Mentor leaders and creates a strong pipeline of talent.
Delivery of Insights & Innovation
• Oversee delivery of advanced analytics, forecasting, and predictive models to improve operational and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure insights are delivered in intuitive, consumable formats (dashboards, self-service tools).
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML) to enhance capabilities and competitive advantage.
Job Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in data & analytics, including leadership of enterprise-scale teams.
• Proven experience building and leading results-driven, agile teams.
• Demonstrated success in business partnering and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Deep experience delivering actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Experience designing and implementing self-service analytics environments that reduce reliance on IT for reporting.
• Strong experience with:
• Snowflake, AWS, Azure, SAP, Infor M3, MuleSoft, and Salesforce
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Background in integrating operational technology (OT) data with enterprise systems.
• Experience leveraging market and competitive intelligence data to inform strategy.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field.
• Business-first leader who can bridge technical and commercial conversations.
• Strong collaborator who builds trust and alignment across functions.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
