The Role

We’relooking for a Senior Software Developerto join our AML Scenario Builder team, reporting tothe Director - Software Development.In this role, you’llhelp build and improve the tools our customers use to create custom alert scenarios, making complex workflows easier to manage and scale.

You’llwork closely with teammates across engineering, product, and quality to turn ideas into reliable features, support evolving customer needs, and help shape a product that is still growing and expanding its impact!

WhatYou’llDo

• Build and evolve tools for scenario and workflow creation.

• Shape solutions that make complex workflows easier for customers.

• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to production.

• Collaborate across teams to deliver impactful new capabilities.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues across services and workflows.

WhatYoullBring

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2+years experiencebuilding andmaintainingproductionobject-orientedsoftware, withhands-ondevelopment in languages such as Java and Python.

• Experience designing and working with APIs and microservices.

• Experience improving system quality through testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with cloud environmentssuch as AWS.

• Ability to modelproblemsas workflows, rules, or scenarios.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with fraud, risk, or regulated environments.

• Experience supporting beta releases or early-stage products.

• Experience with workflow engines, rule builders, or low-code platforms.

This position willbe located inSt. John's, NLand offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
