JOB SUMMARY:The VDC Manager assumes project-level leadership responsibility for VDC execution. This role works directly with project leadership to define VDC priorities, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful delivery of VDC services. The VDC Manager represents VDC independently in project settings and directs the work of VDC Engineers
SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $165,000 annually

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Meet with Project Leadership (Superintendent, Project Executive, Project Manager, Estimator, Design Manager) to define VDC priorities.
- Establish project staffing plan, labor estimate, and deliverable schedule.
- Ensure BIM Execution Plan adherence and success.
- Lead the 3D Construction Coordination process on projects.
- Establish and coach Construction Coordination process with trade partners.
- Act as primary VDC point of contact for project teams.
- Translate VDC capabilities into terms that resonate with project stakeholders (schedule, cost, risk).
- Coordinate with Design teams to identify project risks and collaborate on resolutions.
- Set performance and quality expectations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Represent VDC in owner and design team meetings.
- Direct work of VDC Engineers and Senior VDC Engineers on assigned projects.
- Provide performance feedback and development coaching to team members.
- Discuss VDC with clients and BNB staff to increase internal and external awareness
- Support pursuit efforts by providing VDC scope and approach input
QUALIFICATIONS:- Architectural or Engineering Degree plus 6+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
- 8+ years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Demonstrated experience leading VDC delivery on construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in VDC/BIM processes including 3D coordination, model management, and BIM execution planning.
- Proficiency in Autodesk products including Revit and AutoCAD; ability to learn and adopt emerging tools.
- Working knowledge of construction industry workflows, production cycles, and priorities.
- Ability to represent VDC independently and communicate with strong personalities.
- Experience mentoring and developing technical staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction.
