It can be performed fully remotely. However, if you are located within commuting distance of our Toronto Hub, we encourage a hybrid schedule with in-office presence two days per week.
Job DescriptionCurinos is seeking a UX Designer to join our growing UX chapter within the Product & Technology organization. This role will contribute to delivering high-quality user experiences across our product portfolio by supporting design efforts within cross-functional product teams.
Reporting to the Director of User Experience, and working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Senior Designers, this individual will apply user-centered design principles to complex, data-driven products while continuing to build their craft and business understanding. This role emphasizes strong execution, collaboration, and growth, contributing to product quality and usability.
ResponsibilitiesBuild user-centered design- Apply user-centered design principles to product work, incorporating research, feedback, and product data
- Assist in user research and usability testing efforts, supporting planning, synthesis, and application of insights
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and guidance from senior team members
Collaboration & design delivery- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape product outcomes
- Translate product requirements and data into clear, usable design solutions
- Produce design deliverables including flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Participate in design discussions, sprint activities, and team ceremonies
- Incorporate direction and feedback to align designs with product and technical constraints
Apply design systems and standards- Apply design systems, patterns, and UX best practices I day-to-day work
- Contribute to maintaining consistency, accessibility, and usability across products
Develop design skills and domain knowledge- Continuously build UX craft skills across interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking
- Learn and apply best practices in designing for complex, data-driven products
- Stay curious about UX trends, tools, and approaches
Salary Range: 90,000-120,000 CAD (plus bonus)
Desired Skills & Expertise- 2-4 years of UX design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating foundational UX skills and problem-solving approach
- Experience contributing to product design work in cross-functional teams
- Exposure to data-heavy, B2B, or SaaS products is a plus
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment
