Your Key Responsibilities The Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators and strategists who have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new growth businesses. In April 2016, EY acquired this team out of Highnote Foundry, a venture capital and venture services firm, in order to build and launch new businesses for EY Americas Tax.
We're looking for versatile team members to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, which currently includes:
- Strategy projects to define the next winning products and segments for EY Tax
- Development of a novel AI platform capable of generating written advice to clients in the same way that a human advisor does
- Evolution of an immersive AI simulation platform - EY ConvoCoach - that teaches better communication skills
As a member of our team, you may be involved in:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define relevant market opportunities and propose solution, delivery models and business model(s) for new and/or growing EY tax services/businesses
- Conducting analyses of technological solution(s), alternative revenue streams and business models to drive profitability
- Gathering and interpreting data from client interviews and presenting findings in a cohesive and solution-oriented narrative
- Conducting thorough research to evaluate and define new opportunities
Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have: - A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics or a related field; supported by a strong academic record.
- 3.0 cumulative college/university GPA.
- Superior project management, interpersonal, communication, teaming and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An interest working in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
- You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to New York City for this position.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future.
Ideally, you will have: - Cumulative college/university GPA of 3.2 or above.
- A functional understanding of strategy frameworks, business models, and product development.
- An entrepreneurial mindset - creative and resourceful problem solver who is an action-oriented and self-motivated team player, that is also tough-minded and strives for uncompromising excellence.
- A passion for learning: constantly discovering and forming opinions on the latest technology, business models, and new ventures.
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
