Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary: The (USA) Systems and Infrastructure Engineer II plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing Walmart's IT infrastructure by performing routine maintenance, automating processes, and supporting capacity management. This position involves applying expertise in coding, configuration, and infrastructure design to ensure robust, secure, and scalable systems. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to analyze requirements, resolve issues, and implement solutions aligned with business objectives. What you'll do: - Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems, including backups, patch management, and hot fixes.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in analyzing business and technical requirements to support solution design and capacity planning.
- Configure and maintain virtual machines, network components, and cloud-based applications.
- Maintain version control and documentation for code changes and system configurations.
- Support issue resolution and maintain a repository of system incidents.
- Adhere to security, quality, and compliance standards throughout development and maintenance activities.
What you'll bring: - Proven knowledge of infrastructure maintenance tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to support system reliability.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in coding standards and frameworks, with the ability to write robust, maintainable code following best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
