Role summary:

The (USA) Software Engineer III plays a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. This position involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring high-quality code through rigorous testing and continuous integration. The engineer manages project requirements, drives technical solutions, and supports ongoing maintenance to optimize performance and reliability. Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills are essential to contribute effectively to iterative development and deliver impactful results aligned with business objectives.
About the team:

The team collaborates closely with Product, Program, Architecture, and cross-functional engineering groups to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions addressing complex business challenges. Members apply strong technical expertise in Java development, distributed systems, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI. The environment emphasizes iterative development, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Engineers contribute to all project phases, from design through testing and deployment, ensuring quality and reliability. The team values clear communication, technical acumen, and a delivery-focused mindset to achieve impactful results aligned with business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with product, project, business, and user experience teams to develop high-level designs for small to medium projects.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues by performing root cause analysis and developing effective solutions.
  • Translate project requirements into technical solutions, conduct coding, unit testing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support business users by providing technical guidance and identifying sustainable implementation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor small engineering teams, providing documentation, direction, and timelines.
  • Develop automation scripts for CI/CD processes and implement telemetry features.
  • Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and evaluate change requests for feasibility.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS and telemetry implementation.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead small engineering teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen to drive iterative development and product strategy.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
