Job Description- Provide overall leadership and direction for the facility by establishing business objectives, driving operational performance, and ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, customer service, and financial goals.
- Maintain accountability for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, structured problem solving, and effective performance management processes.
- Align manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, inventory, logistics, and workforce resources with customer demand, business priorities, and long-term growth strategies.
- Lead development and execution of operating and capital budgets, productivity initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and strategic investments to improve profitability and sustainable business performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, corporate leadership, and other key stakeholders while partnering with commercial teams to support customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Develop organizational capability through workforce planning, coaching, succession planning, employee engagement, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, respect, communication, and effective labor relations.
- Lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives related to capacity expansion, capital investments, technology advancement, process improvement, organizational development, and business growth.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives and company goals.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline required, or an equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a world-class or heavy industrial manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in senior supervisory, functional, plant, or business leadership roles.
- Demonstrated track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, customer service, and overall operating performance.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or comparable operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience leading large-scale industrial manufacturing operations strongly preferred; metal manufacturing, foundry operations, fabrication, machining, or related heavy industrial process experience is a plus.
- Experience working with represented employees and managing labor relations in a union environment preferred.
