Qualifications

• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or diploma in Nursing required
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Two or more years of acute care hospital RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an Intermediate Care Unit
• Monitor patients continuously for signs of deterioration
• Administer medications and perform advanced nursing interventions
• Assist with ventilator management and tracheostomy care
• Coordinate post-operative care for cardiac and vascular patients
• Facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately
