The Impact you will have in this role:

As a member of the Enterprise Transformation team, the Transformation Delivery Director leads a portfolio of complex programs and cross-functional initiatives acting as strategic partner to business, technology, operations, and control leaders. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy, investment, and execution while driving disciplined delivery, transparency, and measurable business outcomes across the portfolio for DTCC, our clients, and the global financial markets. This role requires a well-seasoned program management and people leader with a strong enterprise mindset, executive presence, and the ability to lead through influence in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, and regulated environment. Success in this position demands the ability to oversee multiple complex programs, engage executives to shape priorities, resolve tradeoffs, and remove barriers, and develop high-performing teams of program management professionals that deliver predictable outcomes in the face of ambiguity and evolving enterprise needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership
    • Own end-to-end accountability for portfolio and program delivery health, including delivery performance, financials, risk posture, and sustained business adoption.
    • Oversee multiple complex enterprise programs, ensuring consistency of execution, governance, and outcome realization.
    • Translate enterprise strategy and business objectives into integrated, multi-year portfolio delivery strategies, sequencing investments and managing cross program dependencies.
    • Establish and maintain a portfolio operating cadence, including governance forums, planning cycles, escalation mechanisms, and executive reporting.
  • Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and sustain strong executive stakeholder relationships, shaping scope, delivery approach, prioritization, and tradeoffs to optimize enterprise value.
    • Partner with enterprise portfolio leaders to balance delivery rigor, financials, capacity constraints, and evolving business priorities across the enterprise.
    • Develop and deliver executive level communications, including portfolio health views, risk narratives, dependency analyses, investment tradeoffs, and outcome reporting.
  • Delivery Governance & Risk Management
    • Ensure disciplined application of PMI aligned complex program and portfolio management practices across the portfolio.
    • Proactively manage portfolio-level risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and financials, identifying systemic trends and driving timely resolution and alignment at the appropriate leadership level.
    • Partner with governance, risk, and control stakeholders to ensure compliance, transparency, and effective escalation.
  • People & Capability Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop program leaders, building and sustaining a high performing transformation delivery team by strengthening program management capability, standards, and ways of working.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and talent development across Transformation Delivery.
    • Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:

Talents Needed for Success:
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional enterprise programs and portfolios spanning business and technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at the executive level, with strong judgment, influence, and communication skills.
  • Advanced capability in developing executive level materials and narratives, including dashboards, decision papers, and strategic narratives.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience overseeing budgets, investment tradeoffs, and outcome realization.
  • Experience with portfolio and program management tooling (e.g., Planview, Jira) and enterprise governance models.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
