Transaction Advisory Supervisor, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of professionals, supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions through financial due diligence and meaningful business insights. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, gain exposure to a variety of industries, and develop expertise in a fast-paced environment where no two engagements are alike.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead day-to-day execution of financial due diligence engagements across multiple clients and industries.
- Financial due diligence including drafting quality of earnings deliverables including:
- Analyze historical income statements and balance sheets to calculate, support, and propose adjustments to EBITDA, uncovering non-recurring expenses, pro-forma items, and operational shifts.
- Analyze monthly net working capital patterns, compute seasonality baselines and isolate normalization adjustments.
- Revenue recognition analysis
- Cash proof analysis
- Calculate cash to accrual conversions and other adjustments to align with GAAP
- Review workpapers, analyses, and deliverables prepared by associates and seniors to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate and manage engagement timelines, deliverables, and client communications.
- Assist in the importation and formatting of large data sets
- Manage data request list and data room for due diligence engagements
- Attend networking events
- Assist leadership in evaluating complex accounting, financial reporting, and transaction-related matters.
Education & Experience: - 3-5+ years of public accounting experience, including 2+ years of dedicated transaction advisory or financial due diligence experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, with demonstrated technical accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Prior experience leading workstreams or supervising staff on due diligence engagements.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing Quality of Earnings analyses and reports.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
- Experience working directly with private equity firms, strategic buyers, lenders, and business owners preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing junior professionals preferred.
- Demonstrated project management and client relationship management skills.
