The Senior Training Specialist is integral to the development, delivery and management of technical training programs for field service technicians, internal stakeholders, and customers. The Training Specialist directs and coordinates the training programs in conjunction with Human Resources, Engineering, Safety and the Service teams as appropriate. This individual works to maintain safety, quality, delivery, cost control and environmental standards through training support.
Key Responsibilities- Training Strategy and Program Development: Develop and maintain a structured technical training program for field service technician, internal team members, service partners and customers (operators and maintenance teams). Define training pathways and certifications levels aligned with service requirements
- Curriculum Design & Development: Apply advanced instructional design and adult learning methodologies to create mixed-format content, including gamified modules, video-on-demand, and practical simulations. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure curricula remain relevant, effective, and aligned with industry trends.
- Training Delivery & Technical Instruction: Lead high-quality technical training sessions focused product knowledge and support; including advance diagnostic and troubleshooting. Provide in person classroom and hands-on session, virtual instructor led training and digital/self-paced learning platforms.
- Training Compliance and Tracking: Implement and maintain system to track - Training completion, certifications & qualifications levels, and training validity & renewals. Provide reporting on technician readiness and compliance. Ensure adherence to safety, quality and regulatory training requirements
- Assessment & Continuous Improvement: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to measure program effectiveness and learner performance. Integrate feedback from field operations and business trends to continuously refine training content and maintain accurate records for accountability.
- Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on policy changes and course delivery.
What We're Looking For- Education: Associates or Bachelors in Technical field or 5+ years experience in technical field
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering technical training.
- Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Strong background in LMS software and content creation tools
- Self-leadership, who can manage with minimal direction
- Proactive and autonomous
- Working through ambiguity
- Strong time management skills

Salary Range:$92,800 - $127,600
