Introduction to the job

As a Training and Development Solution Manager for Manufacturing Services, you will coordinate the end to end delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Learning and Knowledge Management solutions within specified timelines. You will develop Learning & Knowledge Management solution deployment and adoption plans and monitor progress by leading meetings and initiating meaningful conversations with cross-functional teams to influence and ensure key deliverables are on track. You will apply advanced project management and instructional design skills to manage the training teams' project deliverables and timelines, monitor competency performance, and support the continuous improvement of the team's training programs.

Role and responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a network of stakeholders; effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses.
  • Create and maintain project documents and detailed project plans including milestones, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, risks/opportunities, and lessons learned.
  • Notify the Training Manager of any discrepancies in the day-to-day execution of projects.
  • Manage employee competence assessment program, including gap assessments and gap closure plans.
  • Assist in the management of organizational development programs for San Diego Factory, Cymer Factory, and Korea Factory, Including but not limited to competency improvement initiatives, onboarding, cross-training, etc.
  • Analyze business requirements and create reports and learning solution proposals to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Represent the Training and Development team in cross-sector project teams and meetings.
  • Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics, Operational Excellence, and Learning & Knowledge Management stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required
  • 5-+ years direct work experience required
  • Project Management experience required
  • Excel proficiency with data entry, formulas/functions, data visualization, pivot tables
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to establish training programs and classes, surveys, dashboard reports, and other functions to manage a training organization preferred
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, LMS, SharePoint, and scheduling applications) required
  • Experience working in organizational and/or technical training environment preferred
  • Experience working in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or technical industries desired

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$82,875-124,313

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
