Full Job Description
Responsibilities
Manages and analyzes budget to provide strategic recommendations to executive management for the T&D Training seat time and delivery budget.
Supports T&D Training by collaborating with peers to determine business objectives and ensures that the vision and goals of the organization are in alignment with the Company's goals.
Provides leadership to staff including counseling, training and development, salary administration, hiring selection and disciplinary action.
Explores and evaluates new technology and best practices to assess value for T&D Training's current continuous improvement efforts related to streamlining processes and creating consistencies across the T&D Training organizations.
Leads the centralized administrative and analytical effort by shaping and implementing the project management and business support strategy across various T&D Training groups.
Partners with EL&D, client organizations, Cost Management, peers and management to ensure alignment and high levels of productivity.
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising power grid system operations or the design and delivery of related technical training.
Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as Supervisor in Substation Construction & Maintenance
Experience as Technical Instructor
Proficiency in operating and maintaining substation equipment controls and protection schemes
Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
