What You'll Do
  • Lead transformational business initiatives across assigned business units, designing comprehensive future-state reconciliation solutions that significantly reduce operating costs and strengthen financial, internal, and operational controls
  • Drive organizational change management by partnering with cross-functional teams, business units, operations teams, and global process service partners to reimagine current-state reconciliation processes and deliver transformational outcomes
  • Establish centers of excellence and best practices for reconciliation across the enterprise, building organizational capability and embedding sustainable change
  • Conduct advanced business analysis and requirements elicitation, translating complex business needs into enterprise reconciliation solutions that support Finance Shared Services scaling and strategic growth
  • Lead strategic stakeholder alignment initiatives, balancing competing needs of business, end-users, and technical stakeholders while championing organizational transformation
  • Design and optimize reconciliation processes across multiple scenarios (GL to Source System, Sub-ledger, NTZ Intragroup, cash, asset recs, n-way reconciliations)
  • Leverage reconciliation product expertise to optimize SmartStream TLM platform configurations, drive best practices implementation, and accelerate time-to-value for new onboarding initiatives
  • Develop enterprise-grade project documentation aligned with RBC Agile/PMF standards, including EPICs, User Stories, detailed process flows, comprehensive UAT plans, PRD cut-over strategies, and RTB hand-over documentation
  • Architect Financial Information Business Rules (FiBRS) and Static Data configurations for complex onboarding/off-boarding scenarios
  • Provide technical leadership in data transformation design, including ETL process optimization (Datastage, Monarch, Apache Airflow, Python) and advanced reporting solutions

  • 3+ years of specialized experience leading end-to-end financial services transformation initiatives, including requirement gathering, solution derivation, operational support during transitions, and production deployments
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal support, deriving solutions and driving initiatives to completion while collaborating effectively between operations and IT partners
  • Critical and strategic thinking capabilities to analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative, solution-driven approaches
  • Demonstrated expertise translating complex financial services requirements into actionable technical solutions, with strong business acumen and source-to-target data mapping expertise
  • Proficiency in gap analysis for current state versus future state assessments and source-to-target data mapping
