The annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,300.00 in our lowest geographic market to $146,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll be part of a global footwear testing team based in Boston, partnering with Product Creation, Development, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver high-performing products. This role collaborates closely with creators and testers across Boston, Shanghai, and Italy, reporting into the testing organization and helping drive product excellence through insights and consumer connection.

A strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, manufacturing processes, and product performance is highly valued. Success in this role requires outstanding organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a hands-on approach to testing and product evaluation.   • Open to work in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in footwear, product testing, product development, engineering, marketing, retail, athletics, customer service, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Development, Engineering, Sports Science, Marketing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, data analysis, statistical reporting, and spreadsheet-based database management.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.


WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will lead and manage the end-to-end footwear testing process, ensuring products meet Converse's highest standards for fit, comfort, and performance. You'll turn athlete and consumer feedback into actionable insights, helping product teams make informed decisions that improve product quality and consumer experience.
  • Manage all phases of the footwear testing lifecycle, including test planning, participant recruitment, product distribution, data collection, analysis, reporting, and program management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, testers, and consumers to gather meaningful product feedback and performance insights.
  • Partner daily with Development, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to evaluate footwear performance and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze test results and consumer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and performance concerns before production.
  • Provide guidance on materials, components, and construction methods to help product teams achieve performance goals.
  • Coordinate testing activities across global partners in Boston, Shanghai, and Italy while managing timelines, priorities, and prototype inventories.
  • Conduct on-campus and field-based testing activities, interacting directly with consumers where they live, work, and play to capture authentic performance feedback.
