The Opportunity:
CACI is actively seeking a Test Team Manager to provide overall test strategy and tools management support for an SAP web-based supply chain management government system. The team lead is responsible for the planning and execution of test events for monthly maintenance, quarterly enhancement, and special project initiatives. Releases include Integration, Performance, UAT support, and Regression test events. The position is customer facing with multiple weekly status / progress updates to be provided verbally to USDA stakeholders. Additional required abilities include technical writing to maintain program Test Strategy documents and contractual release gate review deliverables (Test Readiness Review (TRR), Production Readiness Review (PRR) input). As a member of the Release Management (RM) team, you will leverage your experience and skillsets to support test event schedules as provided by the program in support of our customer’s mission to feed people and improve the procurement, distribution, and tracking of food commodities. While the position does not require immediate business functional knowledge of WBSCM’s processes, the role will include working with Business Process (BP) Functional team members to understand the end-to-end business process scenarios beingdeveloped / enhanced / tested as well as the required data to be generated to most accurately represent end user use of the system. The Test Manager will also oversee the Test Automation Team in their objective to deliver new/enhanced test automation capability to further support program test strategies and objectives as well as the full execution of existing automation capability as identified during testing scope processes, in accordance with release timelines.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the integration and management of the Micro Focus ALM tool test cycles, test lab, and dashboard modules.
Owner of the program Test Strategy document outlining test event execution, metrics reporting, test data management, and identification and future creation of test automation capability
Provide support for test status and strategy calls with USDA on lifecycle gate reviews and weekly PMO / CCB status meetings
Work across technical and functional teams to ensure program test requirements are met while enhancing capabilities.
Oversee demos of the new automation scenarios with USDA agency stakeholders, as necessary
Oversee automation Regression Test scope for monthly and special project releases, within the parameters of the release schedule
Manage volume test data creation requests in support of test events, as requested
Support OpenText ALM custom code / workflow changes as requested by the WBSCM RM
Identity and assess new automation capabilities for WBSCM interfaces and WBSCM reports
Manage the UFT software version compatibility with OpenText ALM (SaaS) upgrades
Support BASIS on security vulnerability remediation efforts related to UFT
Communicate effectively with diverse customer organizations and provide status to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
Facilitate proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of transition from UFT to Tricentis Tosca
Facilitate proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of CoPilot AI solution (or alternate) to enhance test automation capability, whether entirely automated or in support of manual testing activities
Extensive, real-world experience in the design, development, and execution of automated testing scripts to reduce effort / cost with manual testing.
12+ years of relevant business experience; 8+ years of automated test development and execution experience
5+ years’ experience using OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO)
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
Desired:
SAP functional awareness in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW) preferred.
Testing methodology education and/or experience
Cross functional coordination experience
Solution Manager/Automation/Performance Test experience are preferred.
