Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week subject to change at any time.

We are seeking a Test Coordinator / ETL QA Engineering to support enterprise data integration and quality assurance initiatives. The successful candidate will perform ETL testing, data validation, SQL-based reconciliation, and support end-to-end testing of enterprise data pipelines. The ideal candidate has experience validating large datasets, executing ETL workflows, and working with Databricks-based data platforms.
Banking experience is considered a strong asset.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Validate ETL processes and enterprise data pipelines.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data quality and integrity.
• Execute ETL jobs and monitor data workflows in Databricks.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and environments.
• Log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Developers.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation validation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of ETL Testing or Data QA experience.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, window functions, and data validation.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with ETL testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation and source-to-target validation.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to Databricks.
• Basic knowledge of PySpark or Python.
• Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Informatica.
• Automation exposure is an asset.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data quality tools.
