This is a hybrid position based out of one of our Iowa office locations. What we're looking for:SHAZAM is looking for a
Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating functional, regression, and user acceptance test automation for the Company's supported software applications.
What you'll do: - Create, maintain, and execute test automation as part of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Document the success and failure of automated tests for metrics gathering and reporting independently.
- Schedule and execute automated test scripts on appropriate hardware resources during specified test periods.
What you need:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, including the development and execution of automated test scripts, Java development (preferably using Visual Studio Code), database concepts, and writing SQL queries to support testing efforts.
- Experience using defect tracking and issue management tools is required.
- Proficiency in a programming language is required, with a preference for Java or a C-based language.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools is required. Experience with a test management tool is preferred. Exposure to mobile application testing and Sauce Labs is considered a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
