Could you be the full-time onsite Test and Commissioning Engineer in Tampa, FL, US we're looking for? You'll lead the testing and commissioning activities for railway signaling subsystems, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Validation & Verification, and Project Management), develop and execute test procedures, provide technical leadership to resolve complex issues, and much more. You'll specifically take care of organizing and executing Test and Commissioning (T&C) activities, but also ensuring safety and compliance across all testing phases. We'll look to you for: • Organizing T&C activities, including planning, access, resource allocation, and documentation. • Checking compliance of signaling systems against system specification documents and contractual requirements. • Developing T&C procedures for subsystems based on defined specifications to meet contractual requirements. • Leading deep troubleshooting of wayside/railway systems and equipment to identify and resolve root causes of failures and integration issues. • Interfacing with Engineering and V&V subsystem leaders to optimize site tests and resource allocation. • Providing technical leadership to teams for tools, procedures, and problem resolution. • Leading or participating in technical discussions with the customer while representing and protecting the company's interests. • Reporting regularly to the Project T&C Manager on progress, issues, and anomalies arising during site testing. • Ensuring all design-related issues are correctly reported in the appropriate tools, including defect descriptions and test context. • Guaranteeing that all tests are conducted with a strong emphasis on safety.
