Job Summary:

Wholesure Inc., a division of Acrisure, is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to support our Midwest Region. This role is responsible for developing and managing agency relationships, driving profitable new business growth, expanding our agency footprint, and serving as the primary field representative within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships, identifying market opportunities, and representing the Wholesure brand in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with independent insurance agencies throughout the assigned Midwest territory to drive profitable new business production.

  • Conduct a minimum of 15 in-person agency visits per week to cultivate relationships, identify opportunities, and provide ongoing support.

  • Identify, recruit, and appoint qualified new agency partners to expand market presence within the territory.

  • Support the onboarding of newly appointed agencies, partnering with the Internal Marketing Team to ensure successful onboarding within the first 30 days.

  • Collaborate with Division Directors, Underwriters, Brokers, and Internal Marketing to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize agency production.

  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions between agency partners and internal business leaders.

  • Promote and increase participation in company webinars, training sessions, and educational events.

  • Represent Wholesure at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and association meetings to strengthen brand awareness and cultivate new business opportunities.

  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights, and agency feedback to leadership to support strategic business decisions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of agency interactions, sales activity, and pipeline management within CRM systems.

  • Meet or exceed assigned territory production, growth, and agency engagement goals.

Requirements:

  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify business development opportunities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel independently throughout the assigned territory.

  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory; up to 60% travel is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience.

  • Previous experience in insurance sales, business development, agency management, territory management, or a related field preferred.

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred (or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment).

  • Candidates are expected to pursue continuing education, professional development, and applicable insurance designations as part of the company's training and development program.

  • Demonstrated ability to network, influence, and independently manage a sales territory while consistently achieving business objectives.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
