Technical SEO team at Adobe.com is seeking a
Full-Stack Engineer to help develop and maintain internal tooling for
crawling, observability, and alerting. In this role, you will apply your expertise in building systems, automation, and data aggregation-leveraging information from search engines, large language models (LLMs), and other sources. You'll collaborate closely with multiple teams and serve as a key contributor to Adobe's organic growth strategy.
Our ideal candidate possesses solid technical skills and a genuine curiosity about the constantly changing organic search environment. This role focuses on crafting and maintaining internal SEO tooling, supporting multi-functional engineering initiatives to improve web performance, and developing programmatic solutions through research, testing, and experimentation.
What you'll Do- Ensure fast rendering and strong Core Web Vitals scores.
- Implement SEO-related testing.
- Build and deploy APIs that expose SEO data, manage crawl settings, or integrate with external systems (e.g., Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush APIs).
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure SEO services are scalable, secure, and monitored.
- Develop internal dashboards and admin interfaces for managing internal SEO tools.
- Build internal tools that automate SEO audits.
- Develop internal tools to improve SEO observability and alerting systems.
- Integrate with APIs (Google Search Console, Lighthouse CI, PageSpeed Insights, ChatGPT, Vertex) to gather and visualize actionable insights.
- Maintain internal libraries and services that assist content creators and marketers in optimizing pages for search.
- Monitor and analyze site performance and SEO critical metrics using logging, dashboards, and alerting tools.
- Partner with marketing, product, engineering teams to translate SEO strategies into scalable engineering solutions.
- Contribute to user documentation, deployment pipelines, and SEO QA processes.
- Stay up-to-date with Google algorithm changes, new web standards, and emerging SEO tooling.
What you need to succeed- A bachelor's or higher degree in the area of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience.
- We seek a meticulous individual who loves tackling technical challenges and building exceptional software to support SEO teams.
- Good attention to detail and excellent document management abilities
- Experience in Cloud technology, API, and SEO crawling tools.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950In New York, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
