Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technology procurement.
• Experience sourcing enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or IT services.
• Strong commercial negotiation experience with technology suppliers.
• Ability to challenge business decisions regarding scope and timelines.
• Strong analytical skills for financial modeling and supplier comparisons.
• Familiarity with data, automation, or AI tools in sourcing tasks.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• Preferred experience managing subprocessors' vendor relationships.
• Preferred knowledge of Zip, NetSuite, or Ironclad.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and IT to identify platform needs and technology roadmaps.
• Develop sourcing strategies for cloud services, enterprise SaaS, AI/ML services, and security technologies.
• Lead complex sourcing events, including RFPs and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and pricing models for long-term cost efficiency.
• Anticipate contract renewals and align sourcing with business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and InfoSec for scalable commercial terms and risk management.
• Act as a trusted advisor on supplier choices and project timelines to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools to analyze supplier proposals and inform negotiation strategies.
• Build strategic relationships with technology leaders to integrate sourcing early in investment decisions.
• Streamline sourcing processes and enhance decision-making frameworks.
