POSITION SUMMARYThe Technology Services Specialist II is responsible for the management, support, and oversight of Digital Technology services in the SoPac region. This role reports to the Technology Services Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Primary support partner for the region, ensuring compliance with Digital Policies, Procedures, and Standards
- Point person for regional communication and change management
- Delivering training and education to end users on technology best practices as needed
- Conduct onsite visits to regional offices and project sites to maintain existing technology and serve as the primary contact for new technology implementations
- Manage and maintain AV systems at all regional offices and jobsites in collaboration with Networking and MHI Collaboration Technology Engineers
- Assist regional offices and project sites with;
- Cost (tracking for equipment and billing to appropriate projects)
- Mobile device set up (MS Authenticator)
- Identify, analyze, and track trending support issues.
- Level 3 Ticket resolution or escalation
- Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up on problems that cannot be resolved by level 1,2 or remote support Digital Partners
- Raise awareness of trending issues to the Manager on next steps
- Follow established procedures or develop and document new solutions for issues discovered at the regional level
- Document all solutions in knowledge base
- Proactively identify and participate in process improvement projects, or assist other IT teams as requested
- Jobsite Project start-up, moves & closeout
- Collaborate with McCarthy preconstruction and operations teams to understand technology requirements upon request
- Coordinate with the Network team to ensure network services and hardware are delivered, installed and configured at the project
- Responsible for hiring and supervising subcontractors to install low voltage cabling
- Procurement of additional hardware (displays, wall mounts, workstations, etc.)
- Manage copiers and printers
- Vendor management
- Configuration and operational support (scan to email/file/OneDrive/PrinterLogic)
- Collaboration with regional Solution Center for purchase and/or lease
- Primary liaison with local HR for onboarding or offboarding employees
- Terminations - PC wipe, data recovery/preservation and redistribution
- New hires - maintain visibility to all incoming new hires and ensure delivery of technology prior to start date
- Respond to legal discovery / preservation requests as needed
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum 5 years of previous IT and/or McCarthy business operations management experience required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field recommended
- Experience with construction related applications preferred
- High level of professionalism required
- Superior customer service skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels in the organization, both inside and outside of technology required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines required
- Strong organizational capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement required
For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $100,000 depending on location. This does not include a possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
