As a Technology Category Manager, at Capital Group, you will lead sourcing strategies across AI, cloud, and software-as-a-service technologies. This highly visible role will partner with senior technology, finance, and business leaders to evaluate vendors, manage complex technology spend, and influence strategic decisions across the organization. Please note, this role does require you to work in office Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute category strategies for AI, cloud, and SaaS. - Evaluate technology providers, purchasing models, and market opportunities. - Advise senior leaders and communicate recommendations effectively. - Build alignment across multiple stakeholders without direct authority. - Perform hands-on category management while helping establish and grow the future team. - Support the Enterprise Sourcing Office’s shift toward more strategic, business-focused category management. What We’re Looking For - Strong, practical knowledge of AI and cloud technologies. - Experience sourcing and managing complex technology categories. - Ability to influence executives and deliver challenging recommendations. - Excellent communication, relationship-building, and business-partnership skills. - Interest in developing into a people leader as the team grows. - SaaS and strategic sourcing experience are preferred. Highly Preferred Qualifications - Deep AI and cloud expertise - Executive influence and communication - Technology category or vendor-management experience - Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization Charlotte Base Salary Range: $136,749-$218,798 Southern California Base Salary Range: $159,354-$254,966 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
