- You will be responsible for the safe handling of foreign and domestic weapons systems/subsystems and other collected exploitable materiel (CEM).
- You will perform, supervise, manage, and provide training in Level 1 and 2 technical intelligence exploitation.
- You will lead detailed radiographic examinations on weapons systems/subsystems, ordnance, and CEM.
- You will evaluate resultant imagery and lead disassembly and exploitation in support of a start-of-the-art munitions exploitation capability.
- You will ensure correct preparation of shipping documents, materials and methods are used to ship foreign and domestic weapons systems/subsystems
according to worldwide shipping laws and regulations.

QualificationsTO QUALIFY FOR NT-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least
one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
providing technical oversight of disassembly, exploitation, or technical intelligence efforts supporting exploitation capabilities to ensure compliance with foreign and domestic law and regulations.TO QUALIFY FOR NT-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least
one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-03 (GS-9/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

This announcement uses the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Direct Hire Authority for STRL Mission Support to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Operations Department (XN3), in Foreign Material Program (XN3F) of Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division located in Indian Head, MD.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322).This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 through GS-12; the NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
