Summary

You will serve as a Deputy Security Officer in the Naval Sea Logistics Center of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as the Deputy Security Officer for Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport and the Naval Sea Logistics Center and will be designated as the Command Antiterrorism Officer (ATO).
  • You will supervise the Physical Security branch of the Security Division.
  • You will be responsible for and oversee foreign travel for the command.
  • You will assist the Security Officer in the management and oversight of the Command Privacy and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) program, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), and the automated access control system for physical security.
  • You will provide authoritative advice on all matters concerning the management of all NUWC Division Keyport security programs in the absence of the Security Director and provide augmenting management support for code 105.
  • You will attend various working groups hosted by Region and Installation security.
  • You will maintain coordination and liaison with Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS).

  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade levels or NT-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as an Antiterrorism Officer assisting senior security officials in the daily management of Privacy and PII programs and automated physical access control systems, providing actionable advice to leadership on Operations Security (OPSEC), Physical, Information, and Industrial Security
