Technical UI Designer like you to join us in our mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to enhance ourselves and our craft. You will report to our Studio Line Director, Design. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options for candidates.
What You'll Do:- You will design and implement UI systems for Battlefield, using visual scripting in the Frostbite engine.
- You will implement HUD components, UI widgets, and UI animations to design specifications.
- You will partner with engineers and artists to refine the UI, to ensure implementation is the best technically, visually, and for usability.
- You will proactively communicate and collaborate with others across crafts about UI work.
- You will document UI pipelines and mentor others, promoting knowledge sharing within our team.
- Participate in peer reviews by both providing and receiving constructive feedback.
What We Are Looking For:- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing UI for shipped games or interactive products.
- 3+ years of experience as a front-end or UI scripter.
- Expertise in visual scripting and modern UI frameworks, working with game editors like Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity.
- Experience integrating player feedback and analytics into UI improvements.
- Experience documenting technical processes and implementation flows.
- Collaborative, creative problem-solver.
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
