Job DescriptionPosition SummaryFusion Innovation is seeking a Technical Targeter to support intelligence missions in McLean, VA. The Technical Targeter will combine technical research, data analysis, and intelligence tradecraft to identify, assess, and develop targets of interest. This role works closely with analysts, collectors, and mission partners to turn complex information into actionable targeting leads and clear recommendations.
Responsibilities- Research and assess targets using classified and open-source information, technical data, and intelligence reporting.
- Identify connections, patterns, capabilities, and gaps across multiple data sources.
- Develop and maintain target profiles, network analyses, and supporting documentation.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate digital infrastructure, communications, or other systems relevant to mission objectives.
- Collaborate with analysts, collectors, and technical specialists to refine targeting approaches and collection requirements.
- Produce concise written assessments, briefings, and recommendations for mission stakeholders.
- Track new information, reassess existing judgments, and update targeting products as priorities change.
- Document research methods and findings in accordance with customer standards.
Required Skills- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience in intelligence analysis, technical targeting, all-source research, cyber analysis, SIGINT, or a related mission area.
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and explain findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Experience preparing intelligence products, target packages, analytical reports, or mission briefings.
- Strong research, critical thinking, writing, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive information in a secure, mission-focused environment.
Desired Skills- Experience supporting Intelligence Community targeting or collection missions.
- Familiarity with network analysis, data visualization, geospatial analysis, or technical collection concepts.
- Experience using customer-approved analytic tools, databases, and research platforms.
- Knowledge of foreign networks, communications technologies, cyber infrastructure, or other technical areas relevant to targeting.
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, computer science, engineering, international affairs, or a related field.
