Position Overview

As a Territory Technical Specialist (TS), you play a critical role in driving revenue growth and technical sales success within Autodesk Construction. You will partner closely with Territory Sales Specialists to influence deal strategy, drive technical closure, and demonstrate how Autodesk solutions solve real customer challenges.

Leveraging your AEC industry experience, you will uncover customer needs, connect solutions to business outcomes, and deliver high-impact, story-driven engagements. You will help customers reduce risk, improve predictability, and increase efficiency across the construction lifecycle.

This is a remote role. Candidates must be located in the Western half of the United States and will report to the Manager of Technical Sales.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry (Construction preferred)
  • Experience in roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Foreman, or similar
  • Experience with SaaS technology and/or technical sales environments
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into clear business outcomes
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working with both technical users and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer and internal meetings


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Autodesk Forma or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with construction workflows across preconstruction, execution, and closeout
  • Experience delivering customer-facing presentations or demos
  • Background in digital transformation or construction technology adoption

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $126,200 and $226,160. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
