This position reports to:Sales Excellence Leader
Your role and responsibilities:The Technical Sales Support will have the opportunity to support the Electrification IBC (Industries, Building, Channel) Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.
While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Mountain District: Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Nebraska and South Dakota
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in the United States.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Qualifications for the role:- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma / GED) and 10+ years of experience in of sales experience in the electrical industry.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with contractors and channel partners a plus.
- Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills desired.
- Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools preferred.
- Understanding of CRM system, SFDC preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually.
