Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program. This role provides technical expertise and analysis for specialized applications and operational environments. The candidate will apply industry principles and functional knowledge to meet task order requirements.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Evaluate systems to identify operational efficiencies and automation opportunities
• Monitor solutions and recommend adjustments to optimize long-term sustainment
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and working groups
• Ensure systems are scalable, adaptable, and meet performance requirements
• Contribute to developing a client roadmap to enhance sustainment using automation technologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract and clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, as well as successful completion of a CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of experience with lifecycle sustainment, systems integration, and data-driven analysis of mission-critical systems for efficiency, scalability, security, and usability.
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and asset management for operational readiness.
• Ability to develop evaluation reports and provide recommendations on process, automation, and integration improvements to streamline mission delivery.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 - $245,500.00.
