What You Will Do:a

  • Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assignedacompetitively-heldaaccounts, to meet profit increase goalsa

  • Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that willamaintainaand grow salesa

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executivesa

  • Provide technical support to customers;aidentifyingaand resolving customer challenges, escalating asarequireda

  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpretingadataaand providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing ataoptimalalevels.a

  • Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Watera

Position Details:a

  • Candidate mustresidewithin a commutable distance fromaGreater Chicago Area (Chicago, IL)

  • Territory covers about a 120-miles radius of the surrounding areaa

  • Targeted accounts are within the Power industries

  • 10-25%overnight travelarequireda

Minimum Qualifications:a

  • Bachelor's degreea

  • Three years of technical sales or field sales support experiencea

  • Position requires a current and valid driver's licensea

  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this rolea

Physical Requirements:a

  • Drive a company vehicle asarequiredato perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed toadetermineaeligibility to drive a company vehicle)a
