Full Job Description
Position: Technical Project Manager

Location: Halifax, NS (Hybrid/Remote) or Remote within Canada

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Technical Project Manager who can lead the day-to-day delivery and support of an enterprise Salesforce environment. You do not need to be a developer, but you must have enough platform and technical depth to lead technical conversations, coordinate resources intelligently across time zones, enforce scope boundaries, and represent Ateko credibly with enterprise stakeholders.

What You Bring
  • Technical Project Management: 5+ years leading complex, client-facing technology engagements, managing scope, schedule, risks, budgets, dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Managed Services & Incident Leadership: Hands-on experience in production support or managed services. Skilled in severity classifications, SLA tracking, support queues and remaining decisive during critical outages.
  • Salesforce Familiarity: Experience within the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Communications Cloud/OmniStudio) is a strong asset, as well as familiarity with DevOps tools (Copado and GitLab) and deployment pipelines.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional written and verbal skills. Proven ability to translate complex developer diagnostics into clear executive updates, manage multi-timezone teams (Canada & India), and navigate high-pressure client situations.
  • Process & Tool Proficiency: Strong background in Agile/hybrid methodologies, root-cause analysis, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Eligibility to Work in Canada: You are a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, or hold a valid work permit.

What You'll Do

As a Technical Project Manager at Ateko, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery and operational coordination of complex enterprise Salesforce engagements.

This is a high-touch role that includes significant time with clients, technical delivery teams, and Ateko leadership. You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Manage Production Support: Oversee the operational delivery of Salesforce production support, including incident tracking, prioritization, escalation, SLA management, and coordination of technical resources.
  • Drive Incident Leadership: Act as Ateko's Incident Lead during critical (P1/P2) events. Translate technical findings into structured status updates for client leadership while insulating developers so they can focus on remediation. This may include coordinating communications, responses and resources during after-hours incidents and escalations.
  • Manage SLAs and Escalations: Monitor service commitments, identify risks to SLA performance, and ensure issues are escalated appropriately when additional technical expertise, leadership support, or client decisions are required.
  • Gatekeep Support Queues: Review incoming ServiceNow tickets to validate complete reproduction steps and logs are provided before accepting cases into active SLA queues.
  • Coordinate Onshore & Offshore Teams: Lead Canada and India technical resources across time zones to ensure seamless shift hand-offs, clear task ownership and alignment.
  • Maximize Team Productivity: During low support volume periods, pivot dynamically to drive planning for backlog enhancements, technical debt, and continuous delivery items.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives and incident reviews, identify opportunities to improve delivery and support processes, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future ways of working.
