Full Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in the optics or consumer electronics industry (e.g., managing the development and scaling of options, light source, and display commodities).
  • Experience with taking a module or system from concept stage into mass production.
  • Experience working with hardware and systems engineering throughout the product development process.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience leading New Product Introduction and manufacturing initiatives for hardware products.
  • Experience with geometrical and physical optics.
  • Experience with optical metrology.
  • Experience with Chip/Board level power delivery architectures.


Responsibilities
  • Engage and support new technology exploration, collaborate with cross functional partners on creating a long term technology roadmaps mapping closely with product roadmaps, and advise/recommend to the executive team a clear partner/supplier strategy.
  • Partner and work with a cross-functional team to drive the supplier selection process and component qualification using commercial best practices/disciplines.
  • Drive supplier and site readiness activities for NTI programs leading to successful product launch with the experience in delivering the required volumes at launch.
  • Drive product cost and negotiate competitive pricing while keeping in mind the total cost of ownership including product cost, CapEx, logistics, inventory and cost of quality.


Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
