At the intersection of cutting-edge AI-enabled software engineering and global automotive standards, you will lead the evolution of Ford's Vehicle Homologation and Compliance ecosystem. As Product Lead, you will architect and develop the digital products of this domain that serves as a strategic competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and develop Agentic AI services that reason, act, and iterate to automate complex regulatory workflows and ensure 100% compliance adherence
  • Conceptualize and design a scalable, functional model for a Digital Compliance Platform tailored to meet evolving regulatory and business requirements
  • Own and define technical specifications for functionality, data, integration, and performance by collaborating with Product and Architecture teams
  • Build AI enabled Software Engineering for higher quality, productivity, and throughput
  • Deliver to product commitments and manage backlog through Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning etc.)
  • Define and drive strategy by architecting the long-term vision, strategic roadmap, and product lifecycle for the portfolio including strategic investment planning
  • Establish data products, standards, and architecture that serve as foundation for AI, automation, advanced analytics, and broader digital transformation
  • Design and optimize database models and data architectures to ensure highly efficient storage and retrieval of enterprise information
  • Lead a global team of 20 skilled and motivated software engineers. Build talent and mentor team members to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure metrics/KPIs are consolidated and reported per corporate standards
  • Communicate progress, identify roadblocks, and manage dependencies through data-driven metrics, milestones, and future-state roadmaps
  • Prepare and deliver executive updates and presentations for operational updates, organizational accomplishments to objectives, strategy and roadmap etc


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years of dedicated expertise in Product Management and Agile software development
  • Tech Stack: Google Cloud Platform, Java, J2EE, Python, Postgres, BigQuery, Cloud Run, SonarQube, Jira, GitHub.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in service-oriented architecture, development of APIs, Microservices on GCP with Tekton CI/CD deployment pipe
  • Demonstrated ability of DevSecOps mindset with full ownership of development, security, and operational support aspects of a product
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding Monitoring activities and toolset (Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog etc.) to provide best operational support
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams within a Product Driven Organization (PDO) framework
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter - able to identify what needs to be done and then get it done
  • Hands-on problem solver to anticipate and proactively resolve hurdles
  • Experience in coordinating, organizing and hosting key meetings and events
  • Inclusive leadership style with the ability to lead through influence and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization
  • Be able to work cross-functionally, in a matrixed environment and have experience in a large multi-national company
  • Most importantly, the successful candidate will exhibit the Ford+ behaviors and work diligently and ethically each day to help achieve success of the Ford+ plan

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Environmental & Safety Compliance domain
  • Knowledge of AI, specifically Agentic AI services development and support
  • Knowledge of product design principles and development
  • Knowledge of platform engineering, data best practices
  • Experience in leveraging Industry Best Practices, Research, Communities of practice
  • Experience with Ford Industrial Systems domains (Product Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes i.e., GPDS, FPS
  • Understanding of emerging digital technologies
  • Experience driving IT integration across domains
  • Experience modernizing legacy IT infrastructure and applications

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $132,800-$250,800.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
