Full Job Description
The Technical Product Manager will help shape and evolve the Retail Performance Platform (RPP), Maritz's next-generation, cloud-native platform designed to power incentive, recognition, and engagement programs at enterprise scale. RPP consolidates complex retail performance initiatives into a single, configurable platform that supports multiple brands, programs, and user communities through modern architecture and shared capabilities. Built with a client-first mindset, RPP combines program administration, participant engagement, communications, and performance analytics into seamless digital experiences. The platform is designed to launch programs quickly using standardized capabilities, while remaining extensible enough to support highly tailored solutions when client needs demand it. This balance of speed, flexibility, and scale is central to how Maritz delivers measurable performance outcomes across retail ecosystems. As a Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization of product capabilities within RPP. You'll work closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and client-facing teams to translate market needs, client challenges, and operational realities into clear product direction. The role also partners in go-to-market and presales efforts helping position platform capabilities, validate solution fit, and ensure what is sold aligns with what can be delivered. This role offers the opportunity to work on a modern, multi-tenant platform that is actively replacing legacy systems and enabling new client growth. You'll help influence how incentive and performance programs are designed, delivered, and scaled - balancing long-term platform evolution with near-term business impact. What You'll Be Doing 40% - PRODUCT MANAGEMENT: Oversees one or more technology products. Communicates details of development efforts to internal stakeholders as well as clients as needed. Creates and maintains a product roadmap based on market insight, user feedback, analysis, customer trends and competitive research. Establish & maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to understand their technical needs as well as their individual business. Perform market research to understand and communicate new trends relative to each product team to remain competitive. 10% - PRESALES & CLIENT SOLUTION SUPPORT: Partners with Sales, Client Success, and solution teams to support presales activities. Participates in client discovery discussions, validates product fit and technical feasibility, contributes to solution design and scope definition, and supports RFP responses, demos, and client presentations. Ensures product capabilities and roadmap commitments are accurately represented and aligned with delivery realities. 50% - PRODUCT PRIORITIZATION: Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine project prioritization for technical products that align with key business strategies. Prioritize enhancement and lifecycle management, work with the development teams to drive business value and operational efficiencies. Collaborates with technical architects, developers, business analysts, project managers to develop and improve processes. Work with technical managers to determine appropriate staffing needs. Present product enhancements, status and recommendations to the governance team.
