Job Title: Mgr SCM Analytics Developer

What You Need To Know:

Overview:

As the Manager SCM Analytics Developer, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to a team of analytics and AI developers, driving the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions that support and accelerate supply chain performance. You will be responsible for aligning analytics and AI initiatives with business objectives, fostering a data-driven culture, and ensuring high standards of analytical rigor and innovation.

This role will drive Supply Chain opportunities and collaboration with functional teams, while also supporting and enabling other groups such as Commercial, IT, and Finance on their partner facing initiatives to bundle cohesive, thorough programs and initiatives. The Manager SCM Analytics Developer will develop repeatable solutions and best practices that can be offered to our strategic partner, minimize duplication of efforts across various functions and projects. Initiatives include but are not limited to: S&OP Integration, Network Optimization, Inventory Optimization, Rationalizing Slow Moving Inventory, and Reporting improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manager role will be instrumental in supporting a long-term vision of supply chain through effective implementation of business processes, and leadership to enable organizational transformation proactively.
  • Drive optimization of existing data processes, promoting automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement through technologies such as DataBricks (AI), SQL, Python, Tableau, VBA, Advance Excel, Power Query, and SharePoint workflows.
  • Supports the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and intelligent agents.
  • Focus on strategic decision making in replenishment, logistics, and nationwide distribution structure.
  • Initiate and collaboratively develop opportunities with the key stakeholders to improve processes and reduce process waste and cost.
  • Execute and ensure procurement processes applying sourcing / purchasing / corporate / Business Partner policies.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to leverage the end-to-end Supply Chain to drive efficiencies.
  • Assist Supply Chain Executives with timely, accurate, pertinent information and analysis as well as aid in monitoring, evaluating, and improving performance and related metrics of the Supply Chain operation.
  • Act as a liaison between the specialized departments within and outside the supply chain organization; will work cross-functionally to develop strategic planning with a holistic approach to future business needs. Ensure the appropriate use of analytical tools so that analysis and reporting is accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Partner with functional managers in Supply Chain Management to understand the current and future business requirements; identify and implement process and organizational improvements.
  • Optimize existing processes and resources with clear goals and benchmarks of improvement, development, and management of sound business practices and efficient processes.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative Inventory, Forecast, Sales, Logistics, and financial data.
  • Applies advanced analytical methods and tools to develop and compute measurements on key performance throughout the Supply Chain.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
  • Specialization in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in analytics. Supply Chain experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven leadership experience in data science, analytics, or business intelligence, preferably within a supply chain or operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of developing talent and building high-performing analytical teams.
  • Thorough analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Expert knowledge in Excel including pivot tables, power queries, vlookups and other advanced formulas.
  • Expertise in data modeling, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Power BI).
  • Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Task Scheduler, Power Automate, and MS tools.
  • Proficiency in programming (Python, SQL) and automation tools.
  • Exposure to cloud AI/ML platforms (Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Azure OpenAI) and AI agent frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and frameworks (e.g., APIs, cloud AI platforms, or agent frameworks) used to build and integrate AI agents into applications.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and lifecycle, including data preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment workflows.
  • Tableau or power BI data sources development experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes and reporting.
  • Thorough analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
