Position Description:

This role will require someone at our client site 5 days a week in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Dallas, TX.

CGI is looking to hire an Technical BSA with experience, specializing in designing secure, scalable, and high performance RESTful and event driven APIs to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Understand business requirements and translate them into API designs
. Work closely with business partners, product owner, product manager, dev and testing teams.
. Hands on experience in Agile methodology and able to run agile ceremonies
. Facilitate requirements analysis and gather requirements from various project stakeholders.
. Gather requirements, create process flows, UI mockups, Report mockups
. Participate in design sessions, understanding of Data Models, UI and the Interfaces for APIs.
. Transform requirements into user stories and assist product owner in defining the Acceptance criteria.
. Analysis of requirements for building Rest APIs, User Interface, ETL Worflows and Tableau reports
. Create technical documentation for REST APIs using Swagger, Test the request and response, source and targets for web services using Swagger. (API Swagger creation, Postman API, SOAP UI or other similar API design and testing tools.)
. Data analysis skill including creating/modifying SQL queries
. Creates Low Level technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems.
. Support Technical Planning, estimation development, testing and UAT support
. Participate in prod. incident analysis and issue resolution
. Work in Agile environment using Jira and confluence tools
. Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts
. Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development
. Requirements:
. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 6+ years overall experience as a BSA for designing User Interfaces, REST API, Swagger.
. 5+ yrs experience in UML, workflow design
. 4+ yrs Experience writing unit tests for Rest APIs using Postman (Mandatory)
. 3+ Working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL (Mandatory)
. 3+ Experince working on Oracle, MongoDB and SQL
. 5 yrs experience in Data Analysis by writing queries to pull data from database.
. Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
. Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
. Working knowledge of Jira tool, status reports etc.
. Strong knowledge of data structures, system design and algorithms.
. Communicating status, risks, issues and/or concerns to leadership in a timely manner
. Skilled at working in tandem with a team, or unsupervised as required.
. Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle.
. Knowledge of Kafka streaming platforms
. Knowledge of BIAN standards
. Excellent Technical writing skills and communication
. Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work closely with diverse personality types, understand technical issues and Independent
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $156,700.00.
