Let’s talk about Responsibilities

• Performs to individual goals established during performance reviews and/or goal setting meetings. • Opens and releases all production, engineering, and rework jobs and ensures proper authorization as required.

• Analyze all jobs for completion, material status, and recommends jobs for closure.

• Ensures efficient supply of materials required to meet production schedules.

• Evaluates material shortages and coordinates with the purchasing of necessary stock.

• Expedites materials through receiving and inspection.

• Schedules production in order to maximize output based on production information, effective equipment utilization and material availability.

• Prepare and analyze daily production schedules and reports to advise/assist management of possible output problems.

• Reviews schedule and related information to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.

• Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. • Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.

• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material, inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials.

• Coordinates with appropriate personnel to ensure that all Disposition of Material activities are completed as required.

• Reads, understands and adheres to appropriate company and department policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, safe and productive workplace and quality products and customer service.

• Must immediately report any and all unsafe conditions and/or work related injuries/illnesses to supervisor.

• Performs other duties, as assigned, to maintain efficiency throughout the company.

• High school diploma and a minimum of five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or as deemed appropriate by the Senior Management of ResMed Motor Technologies

• Ability to use a personal computer

• Experience with Microsoft office programs

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Good math and counting skills

• Strong organizational skills.

• Self-starter.

• Strong personal computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based software. Vantage experience a plus.

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.  

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $35.72 - $53.59 USD Hourly
