Our Team:

The Exchanges & Venues (EV) team supports over 350 trading venues globally and is constantly looking to improve our capability to effectively manage our market-leading exchange content.

Our Technical Project Managers plan, lead, coordinate and empower teams to complete large scale projects. They formulate and deliver end-to-end technology solutions in line with strategic business objectives. They understand how market data is used by various Bloomberg products and customers, and they can collaborate with internal and external partners to implement enterprise-wid e initiatives. They are highly analytical individuals who can innovate and deliver in a multi-faceted and constantly evolving technical environment.

The Role:

The Content Acquisition's Exchanges & Venues (EV) group is seeking a team leader for our global team of Technical Project Managers (TPM). Reporting to the Global Head of EV, you will lead a team of 10 employees and help deliver strategies that drive technical and operational excellence. We are looking for an outstanding leader who has a strong mix of analytical, project management and technology skills, and an ability to bring an entrepreneuria l vision to the team. In addition to day-to-day leadership support, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and training the team. You will coordinate talent development efforts with global counterparts and promote shared best practices.

We'll trust you to:
* Be a strong and dedicated leader who can communicate a clear vision about where the department is heading and how you're going to get there together;
* Lead, mentor, develop and challenge a distributed team of experienced Technical Project Managers;
* Have a workforce plan that maximises the skills of the team, fosters collaboration and encourages diversity;
* Act as an advocate for diversity and inclusion through the understanding of Bloomberg's values, truly understanding its importance to our business;
* Act as a point of escalation and build trusted and collaborative relationships with key partners across groups such as Engineering, Data, Enterprise and Core Product;
* Utilise your experience in the financial industry and understanding of market data and technology to develop strategies to influence and advise the strategic direction of Bloomberg's exchange market data i nfrastructure.

You'll need to have:

* Direct or indirect leadership experience (for example leading projects, mentoring people, etc.);
* Market data experience in the financial services industry, including exchanges, market data providers or financial institutions;
* The vision to align your team's goals to the fast-changing landscape of real-time market data, reference data and technology, and the ability to implement a business and people strategy which responds dynamically to the ever-evolving needs of the market;
* An ability to establish strong credibility and build influential relationships with multiple internal and external clients and partners;
* Comfort with a high degree of autonomy, and demonstrated ability in managing competing priorities;
* Ability to discuss technical concepts and evaluate trade-offs in solution design with Engineering and other partners;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor communication to the needs of both technical and non-technical partners, including senior management;
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to context switch often and effectively and deliver against aggressive targets;
* Experience analysing workflows and removing organizational barriers to improve cross-team collaboration and efficiency.

* Knowledge of Bloomberg data products and how they translate into the needs of our customers;
* Professional qualifications in Project Management;
* Exposure to Agile software development methodologies.

Salary Range = 135,000 - 230,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
