Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities of the Role
  • Prepare complex federal and state individual income tax returns, including,
    • Tax reporting for multi-entity and multi-state structures
    • Investment income, equity compensation, and alternative investments
    • Rental real estate and passive activity considerations
  • Prepare pass-through entity returns (Forms 1065 and 1120-S), including preparation of work papers and related accounting adjustments
  • Take ownership of assigned engagements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
  • Identify and resolve technical tax issues independently, escalating when appropriate
  • Prepare tax projections and related estimated payments.
  • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
  • Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed.
  • Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities
  • Have the ability to work for multiple clients simultaneously
  • Communicate directly with clients and serve as the primary point of contact


Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus
  • Working towards or licensed as a CPA.
  • 3+ years of experience as a tax professional
  • Experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, closely held businesses, and pass-through entities preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong accounting skills required.
  • Experience using CCH Axcess tax software is a plus.


Salary Pay Scale
  • This position's salary range is $100,000 - $140,000.
