Talent Specialist to join our Corporate team in
Toronto, ON. Reporting to the
Manager, Talent Development (with a dotted-line relationship to the
Manager, Talent Acquisition), this role supports enterprise talent programs across learning, performance management, succession planning, and compliance-while helping strengthen the insights, reporting, and processes that enable consistent, high-quality program delivery.
You'll apply specialized knowledge of HR processes, policies, and HR systems to translate data into practical insights, guide stakeholders through annual program cycles, and contribute to continuous improvement and future-state process and system design as part of ongoing HR transformation.
What We Offer:Salary Range: $89,000-$95,000 (eligible for annual bonus)

- Manage and optimize enterprise talent programs, including performance management, succession planning, learning initiatives, and compliance training cycles.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of HR programs by planning, implementation, monitoring, resolving issues, and evaluating outcomes to support program success and continuous improvement, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Interpret HR policies, talent frameworks, and governance requirements to provide guidance to employees, people leaders, and HR partners.
- Analyze HR and recruitment data using HRIS, LMS, and ATS platforms to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare, validate, and maintain accurate reporting and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, governance, and confidentiality across HR systems.
- Translate workforce and talent analytics into actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by HR and business leaders.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to improve recruitment processes, reporting quality, and data-driven workforce planning.

QualificationsMust have:Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and training/professional development in mining or mining adjacent industries.
Experience with enterprise HR systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM, Taleo, Skillsoft Percipio, CoachHub, and Power BI or similar systems), learning platforms, recruitment tools, or other comparable business system
Advanced MS Office skills, including (internet, with high priority on Excel knowledge e.g., pivot tables, lookup formulas, data validation) and comfort working with HR datasets.Strong reporting and analytics capability, including data extraction, validation/reconciliation, and preparing datasets for dashboards and decision-support.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines, high volumes of work, and competing demands.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large workloads or caseloads accurately and efficiently.
Highly organized, with proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs with flexibility.
Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
Proven reliability and accountability, consistently following through on commitments and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Exercises sound judgement while upholding professionalism, values, and ethics in all interactions and decision-making.
Working language: English (written and spoken).
Work model: Hybrid 3 days per week (37.5 hours per week, permanent and full time) 9:00am to 5:00pm in office (Toronto M5H 1J9). With availability to start immediately. Occasional travel to sites, recruitment events or corporate events.
