About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. In this role, you will own and drive the end-to-end recruitment process, from building talent strategies to closing top candidates. You'll partner closely with leaders across the business to understand workforce needs, proactively source diverse talent, and design recruiting strategies that scale with our growth. Reporting to our Director, Technical Recruiting, you'll be a trusted partner to hiring managers and a champion of the candidate experience.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on full-cycle R&D recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and the drive to grow quickly in a complex, fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do
  • Run full-cycle recruiting across R&D departments, from intake with hiring managers to offer negotiations and closing candidates.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and shape talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals.
  • Source and engage passive talent through creative, proactive outreach; build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on interview best practices, market trends, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and assessments, ensuring alignment with role requirements, organizational culture, and long-term potential.
  • Champion the candidate experience by ensuring transparent, timely, and respectful communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate on job description development, ensuring clarity, inclusivity, and market competitiveness.
  • Partner with HR/People Operations on recruiting operations, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Who You Are
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and advise on hiring decisions.
  • Strong sourcing skills using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting tools.
  • Track record of successfully closing candidates and hitting hiring targets while maintaining a high candidate experience.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes or implementing best practices at scale.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented; thrives in dynamic, evolving environments.

Base salary Range for this position in Ontario, Canada is CAD$71,152 - 88,940 (In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus and equity.)
