Full Job Description
The Bezos Earth Fund seeks an experienced, full life cycle recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring across all functions, from technical to subject matter experts in fields vital to the Earth Fund's mission. This individual will serve as a talent advisor, think long term about talent pipelines, support succession planning efforts, and play a key role in building a diverse, high-performing organization.This role will drive the full recruitment lifecycle, from search strategy to candidate generation (both passive through job postings and active through outreach), to offer negotiation. This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders across the Earth Fund to understand organizational priorities, hiring needs, and long-term talent strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts to pipeline future talent.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles at all levels, including leadership and specialized technical positions.
  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies using a mix of proactive outreach, networks, research, and job postings.
  • Conduct competency-based assessments, aligned with the Fund's Leadership Principles and functional skills.
  • Guide candidates through every stage of the hiring process, from first interaction to onboarding, creating a thoughtful and positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data in the applicant tracking system and produce hiring dashboards as needed.
  • In partnership with the Chief People Officer, drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, and equity.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including some experience hiring senior talent is required. Experience in mission driven, philanthropic, nonprofit, or global organizations is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven success recruiting across multiple disciplines (e.g., subject matter experts, operations, technology).
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, including Greenhouse applicant tracking, and other recruiting tools.
  • Ability to influence and advise leaders on talent pools and profiles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using recruiting metrics to track performance and influence decisions.
  • Familiarity with structured interviewing and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting programs at a growing company.
  • Knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance best practices.
