Job Summary
ATG is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Code 104. The selected candidate will provide cybersecurity engineering support for enterprise information systems, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, and secure systems engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support RMF lifecycle activities including system categorization, security controls, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain RMF documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and security artifacts.
  • Implement STIGs, security baselines, and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Conduct security engineering analyses, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance using eMASS, ACAS, and related DoD security tools.
  • Coordinate with ISSOs, ISSMs, system administrators, and Government stakeholders.
  • Support security testing, audits, and incident response activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and engineering recommendations.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of professional systems engineering experience, including cybersecurity or systems security engineering.
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 investigation.
  • Experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, ACAS, and eMASS.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
Desired:
  • CISSP, CASP+, or Security+ certification.
  • Experience supporting NAVSEA or Department of the Navy.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux enterprise environments.
