Job Title: Systems Engrineering Specialist

Job Location: Montreal, QC

Job Code: 39216

Job Schedule: Day Shift

Compensation Range: Between $75,000- $125,000 CDN annually

Essential Functions:

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation.
  • Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports,
  • Perform Reliability, Maintainability, Availability Analyses
  • Experience with selection/design of hardware for the control and monitoring of process plant instrumentation.
  • Working knowledge of power supply technology , grounding architectures and isolation concepts
  • Experience translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Experience setting up and performing EMC tests in accordance with our internal test procedures and applicable standards
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, breaking them down into components and understanding their interactions.
  • Ability to rigorously test systems, identify issues, and implement solutions (troubleshooting subassemblies to the component level).
  • Experience with DOORS requirements management software or similar.
  • Collaborating effectively with diverse teams, including engineers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Some Proficiency in programming languages like Assembler C, C++, for automation and testing.

  • 3+ years project engineering experience or related work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication (French and English
