Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for imaging and configuring PC devices using custom OS images in strict adherence to technical specifications while ensuring UEFI configurations comply with federal cybersecurity standards. Duties include performing hardware address registration to enhance network security, managing encrypted media through centralized management systems, and supporting cybersecurity operations, such as maintaining compliance with litigation hold requirements and data retention policies. Additionally, the role requires diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize downtime during load-testing procedures. This position operates in Federal Government environments and complies with stringent physical, information, and cybersecurity protocols. Responsibilities also include conducting daily warehouse tasks like receiving materials, tagging accountable equipment, and maintaining inventory records, as well as carrying out pre-deployment verification for critical systems, assisting with device deployment and data transfer processes, and sanitizing end-of-life equipment following organizational policies. Responsible for managing RFID systems for asset security, track device lifecycles for proper usage and replacement planning, and leverage tools like the Footprints application to address site personnel issues effectively. Strong asset management, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing time effectively are crucial. The role also includes mentoring junior staff, driving change through continuous improvement, adapting to change, monitoring emerging IT trends, ensuring timely project completion, and communicating effectively with team members.
