Systems Engineer II, Enterprise SystemsAs a key member of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Team, you are an experienced systems engineer who is an effective problem solver and builds secure, scalable services using a combination of creativity and technical rigor. This role will be involved with cloud-based integrations, identity and access management, endpoint administration, cybersecurity operations, and deploying and upgrading IT infrastructure. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while maintaining working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Mac administration.
Essential Functions- Manage a Windows-based enterprise environment with over 40 servers supporting over 925 staff members
- Design, deploy, and upgrade IT infrastructure products and services supporting scientific and administrative business operations
- Engage in hardware and software lifecycle management
- Manage patch deployment and troubleshooting on workstations and servers
- Participate in the development of system standards, policies, and procedures
- Manage enterprise cybersecurity software agents and monitoring systems
- Enable single sign-on with multifactor authentication using Azure AD for on-prem and SaaS applications

Required Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of degree and experience required
- At least three years of professional Windows system administration experience
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise collaboration and cloud platforms such as Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Practical experience managing production cloud services, with strength in Google Workspace and GCP and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Familiarity with system management frameworks such as MDT, WSUS, SCCM, and Intune
Preferred Education and Experience- Five or more years of professional system administration experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Mac administration, including tools such as Jamf Pro, preferred
- One or more years of experience with centralized storage systems such as NetApp
- Knowledge of enterprise backup systems such as Veeam
- Operational automation skills using PowerShell
- Customer-focused mindset

- Ability to balance competing priorities

Annualized Salary Range$112,950 - $139,750 *
